Five Question Friday!! 8/18/11

Gotta apologize right off the bat...I'm blogging this from my phone, in our camper, and blogger acts all wonky when you try to access it from a phone, so bear with me!

This is prolly gonna be short and sweet...please, someone, remind me next year to get this done BEFORE we leave!

And, I can't copy the links so I apologize for that! I'll fix it as soon as I have access to the internet!

Rules for 5QF: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky post to appear tomorrow morning and LINK UP! Most importantly, I want you to HAVE FUN!

1. Do you close the bathroom door when you are home alone?

2. You have to walk around with a word on your forehead. That word describes you. One word. What is it?

3. What store do you refuse to shop at and why?

4. If you participated in arranged marriages for your child(ren), who would you choose for your child(ren)?

5. If you could pick how and when you would die, would you?

------------------------------------------

1. Do you close the bathroom door when you are home alone?

Home alone?! Heck, I don't even close the bathroom door when I have company over!!

Well, that's a stretch, but no...I don't close the bathroom door when I'm home alone.

2. You have to walk around with a word on your forehead. That word describes you. One word. What is it?

Nice.

Because, overall, that is the kind if person I think I am.

Nice. And not in the "niiiiiiice" kind of way, just plain ol' "nice".

3. What store do you refuse to shop at and why?

Wet Seal.

Even though I know people who have/do shop there, it just looks so trashy and out of my age range!

Oh, and American Eagle (for myself) because their jeans don't even cover my underwear.

Hello, low rise!

4. If you participated in arranged marriages for your child(ren), who would you choose for your child(ren)?

Oh, this is so easy. (Clearly, I've thought of this...)

Pal would marry one of two of my wonderful friend Stacy's oldest girls. They are wonderful!

Belle would marry...er, wait. Haven't thought of this one thoroughly.

Dubya would marry my BFF's daughter.

Hambone would marry...hmmm, another I need to work on!

Baby Girl would marry my BFF's oldest son!

Now, I need to get to work on those other two...

*thinking*

5. If you could pick how and when you would die, would you?

Yup, I would.

I would be 103 and it would be in my sleep.

Peacefully, with all of my family smiling at the memories we shared together!

-------------------

Okay...gotta get back to "family reunioning"!! Later dudes!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
