Howdy, friends! Just needed to let you know, any and all medical information on my blog is NOT intended to be a substitute for medical ADVICE! What I offer in my posts is my opinion and knowledge sharing, please contact your primary care provider for medical ADVICE.
Priceless indeed. I'm so glad she's healthy again.
Still, it's daunting. We have a $6000 per person deductible and it's killing us. Adrienne says she'd work 10 jobs and I understand the sentiment, but not the time management. I'm having a horrible time trying to figure out how to pay off my husband, son and daughter's various medical bills, not to mention the fact that we all need glasses.
That is so, so, so very true. When my husband and I lost our baby, the total bill rang in around $6500....I'm pretty sure it would have been cheaper to have had a baby......but he says it was all worth it knowing I was okay.
I am so glad your daughter is doing well! I can't imagine...I thank God everyday that my children are healthy. And will say extra special thanks for living in Canada....I've had 1 knee surgery, 3 pregnancies - one of which involved a 5 week in hospital stay due to pre-term labour risk, and 3 C-Sections: total cost to me? 0. yes, that's a Zero.
I'm so thankful we have OHIP here in Canada! I had no idea what medical care costs in the US! SO SO SO thankful your sweet girl is well again. Seeing her running like that made me teary and happy :-)
My hunka hunka burnin' love!! Mr. Wonderful is "Most Likely to be Voted Husband of the Year". Seriously...the guy's amazing. He has an amazing work ethic, treats me like a queen and cherishes his children. He knows how I like my coffee and rarely balks when I need some girl time. He is an amazing man...and I am one lucky woman to have him!
The Pal
Our oldest child, the Pal is one amazing teenager. BUT, he is a teenager. Argumentative since birth, he has a tender side he doesn't like to show very often. He is one heckuva baseball player, and rumor has it that Joe Mauer has posters of The Pal in his room, not vice versa! ;)
The Belle
This is my second born...my sensitive soul, mama's helper, tender hearted, sweet natured, sassy at times 10 year old. She lights up my life.
E-Dubya (or E.W.)
Our second son, this boy fiercely loves his mama, is tender hearted, has the most amazing infectious laugh, is a hard worker, and an even harder player!
Hambone
Our "baby boy", Hambone is goofy, sometimes aloof, entirely his own person, and a miniature copy of his dad. He'd be happiest if we let him wear his rain boots 24/7.
Baby Girl
Our babe, she is a force to be reckoned with! So unlike her brothers and sister, she is incredibly strong willed, independent, and stubborn. She loves to check the cows with daddy and loathes shopping with her mama. She will most likely be found with a dirty face and sticky hair...
Hospitals are expensive but I would work 10 jobs to make sure my buggy was OK ...She is such a doll
ReplyDeleteOMG these people should be ashamed at the prices they put on things. But yes knowing your daughter is health is priceless!

ReplyDeleteLove knows no bounds.
OK, so I was in the hospital in January for three days and did not have any surgeries... Why was my bill $24,000?? I think I got ripped off!!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a wonderful mommy. Your love for your children come out in every post you write. Glad to see the precious angel is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteOMG. Yuck. So sorry!!!! BUT, then again, there's no dollar amount you can put on love. Blech though - blech.
ReplyDeleteI agree so glad she is healthy again
ReplyDeleteThey are priceless, huh! Jenna's THREE day hospital stay was around $15,000! Crazy!! Thank God for insurance!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat that she is feeling better and wow those are some expensive bills! That sucks!
ReplyDeleteWow....I sure hope that's nout out-of-pocket costs! So glad she's ok, though.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly....that is expensive! Makes me thankful I live in Canada! Thank goodness for insurance. What a great picture....priceless is right!
ReplyDeleteI don't think we can ever put a price on our children but it certainly makes living in Australia a joy.
ReplyDeleteAll public hospital stays and operations covered by medicare which comes out of our tax, so you don't even notice it.
Glad your daughter is happy and healthy :)
Cheers, Fi
Praise God that your beautiful daughter is already fine :)
