Thursday Night 5QF Sneak Peek!!

I am so cold, that I think my bone marrow is frozen...and it's only September. What on earth will I be like in January?!

Friends...MinneSOOOOOta could use a little global warming. I think I'm going to increase my carbon footprint, in hopes that MN warms up a bit. Sorry California...you may fall into the ocean, but at least my marrow won't be frozen anymore.

This weekend, we will celebrate a birthday...more on that later...and I may even make a (much needed) trip to the MOA! I know, I know...I'm crazy to go on a Saturday...but a girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do.

And besides...I need to increase that carbon footprint...so the drive down should help me with that. ;) (I kid. You know I kid.)

Okay...let's get on to the preview! I have spent too much time at the computer today...so I need to stop rambling and get on with it!!

Remember...this post is just the "sneak peek"! Your chance to nab the questions ahead of time, and get your post all ready to go for tomorrow's linky!

(Oh, and if you've never before left a question suggestion...there's no better time than now! The questions are getting kinda picked over...and I love linking people, so I'd love your question suggestions! Otherwise, it's just me picking them...and that's kinda boring.)

Rules for Five Question Friday: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then c'mon back (on Friday am) to link up! I would love it if you'd link back to me...but it is not a requirement!

If you don't have a blog, but still wanna play along...leave your answers in the comments below!

Questions for Friday, September 17th: (Special thanks to Valerie, Katie, Sandy, Pam, and Ann for their question suggestions! I'd like to link YOU in a future 5QF, so c'mon over to my community and offer up your best question suggestions!)

1. What is the first nightmare you remember?

2. Even if you're not a sports fan, what's your favorite sport to play/watch?

3. If you could pull off one piece of trendy fashion, what would you want it to be (jeggings, hats, thigh high boots, etc.)?

4. Did you make good grades in school?

5. What magazines do you subscribe to?

--------------------------------------

All right, my friends! I'll see you bright and early in the am with the linky!

  3. You make me glad to be in Texas! I am loving my shorts and tank tops thank you very much, LOL.

Question Suggestion: When do you do the dinner dishes? Right after dinner, before going to bed, or the next morning.

My hubby and I have two totally different understandings on when they should be done. So, I got to wondering what others think is the right time to get the dishes done, LOL!

Come here looking for the tutorial? It can be found here:  Halo Braid Tutorial!  Let me know how it goes! I had something in mind to try on Baby Girl's hair the other day...my best bud, Dr. J, did something similar to it on Belle once, and I was trying to replicate it. Instead, I got this: Isn't it pretty?! It didn't take nearly as long as it looks and isn't nearly as intricate as it looks! Vlog tutorial coming soon...(for those of you waiting, I'm sorry it's taking me so long!)

Halo Braid Tutorial!

How appropriate, "halo braid", no?! ;) Finally, I have this ready for you...I apologize for the delay! This braid looks intricate, but is really quite easy and quick to pull off...the original video (prior to the warp speed braiding...watch the video to see what I mean) was just a bit over 8 minutes long...not too shabby! So, here you go...right in time for you to try it out on your little girl for Easter!

Crock-Pot Fajitas

You! Yes, YOU!! You must stop whatevertheheck it is that you are doing, and make this recipe. Right now. Tonight. Well...wait. You should probably finish reading this post first...you know...so you know how to make it... But then...STOP! STOP everything, make this, and thank me later! Oh, hold it...wait just a sec (again)...actually, I got this recipe from Melissa...yes, the Melissa of this story ! And this story ...which, well...is the same story, just told two different ways! ;) So, you can thank her...I guess. Well, in any event...prepare your tastebuds to be tantalized! You'll need this: And, this: You'll also need chicken breasts or steak, but since photographing your "main ingredient" is, like, soooo passe, I've left it out. ( Ahem... ) Just keepin ' up with the times, friend. So...slice up those peppers and onions into cute little strips... And...try your best to not slice up the little fingers that are sneaking away pepper strips... (Lemme just inte
